
The world's largest solar-powered boat has been unveiled and will set sail from Germany in a year's time to circumnavigate the globe.

The PlanetSolar is a multihull vessel, which has taken 13 months to build. It’s 102 feet (30m) long, almost 50 feet (15m) wide and stands 24 feet (7m) high. These stats have earned her the title of the world’s largest solar boat.
